John Goldsmith is an artist, fine art printer, and gallery director. He founded PrintMaker Studio, a Canson Infinity Certified Print Lab, specializing in fine art printing, custom framing, and finishing. As Director of Gallery 881, he fosters contemporary lens-based art. His photography has been exhibited at Capture Photography Festival, Format Festival, and Head On Photo Festival. With a Master’s in Physical Chemistry, he began his art practice in Chicago’s Hull House. He co-created SlideNight and won a 2016 public art award on the Canada Line. In 2020, he launched PrintMaker Studio in Vancouver, Canada.

He has worked with acclaimed artists and industry leaders, earning a trusted reputation for his expertise in colour management. Haris has transitioned from grappling with colour inconsistencies to mastering and teaching the art of colour calibration. As a recognized Colour Management Consultant – certified by X-Rite, Apple, and Xerox – Haris brings a wealth of knowledge and an approachable teaching style.
