Abstracts of Nature is a graphic exploration into the endless wonders of the natural world. With a penchant for subtle and beautiful imagery, Christopher James Guy takes the viewer on a journey through familiar subject matter while simultaneously creating what he refers to as “perceptive distortion.” The resulting works are often mistakenly assumed to be composited from multiple images. This meditative collection is intended to serve as a reminder to explore the natural world with an expanded awareness, in awe of light itself.
