This body of work was taken in Montreal Botanical Garden, as part of Hua Jin’s ongoing Botanical Gardens project, which has taken her to gardens around the world. Consistent with Jin’s previous works, the natural world continues to be one of her primary interests. She is fascinated by the varieties in nature and its never-ending changing form and process. Botanical gardens are places that not only collect, cultivate, and display such variety, but also are places where one can acknowledge the combination of culture and nature.
