Social Stories: Exploring Storytelling, Documentary and Social Innovation

Photography produced and shared using mobile devices has become a prevalent force for telling stories. Social Stories aims to explore how local groups within Vancouver are using social media to engage with both their communities and the wider city community whose support they need to maintain, as well as how this form of image making and storytelling acts in the documentary tradition of depicting the realities of the city and era we inhabit.
