The Voyage reflects the artist’s interest in how we choose, individually and collectively, to occupy environments physically and emotionally. How do we define and structure our individual experiences within the confines of an organized, communal environment?

This body of work presents three “portraits” comprised of four images. These images take a different approach to portraiture and photography: creating a sense of identity without a single face. The portraits seek to capture mood and emotion rather than the likeness of a single person. They are a narrative for a collective voyage whereby the participants construct the human landscape.
