Arts Umbrella believes that art is for everyone. As a not-for-profit arts education centre, Arts Umbrella thinks access to the highest quality arts education is a basic human right, regardless of your experience, education, or socioeconomic background.
Since 1979, Arts Umbrella has been sharing creativity through visual arts, music, theatre, dance, and media arts programs. It amounts to 785 classes per year in four locations. Students range from preschoolers to pre-professionals.
Arts Umbrella bases classes on arts-education principles, hires 122 practicing artists, and uses top-quality supplies. These are just a few of the ways Arts Umbrella fosters a place with no creative limits.
