Monica Reyes Gallery

Monica Reyes Gallery, which started as Back Gallery Project in a room behind the Monte Clark Gallery in 2007, was established with the intention of showcasing emerging and mid-career artists whose practices challenge and add to the creative dialogue. After working from different locations, Monica Reyes Gallery settled in its space in Strathcona, Vancouver, and has continued to work with local and international contemporary artists.

Monica Reyes, BGP founder, has over fifteen years of experience supporting artists and collectors through her curatorial expertise. She has worked with numerous galleries and events and has served as the Vice President of the Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver for two consecutive terms. The gallery also supports non-profits and fundraisers throughout the year.

Monica Reyes Gallery strives to accompany and support Vancouver art patrons prospecting new talent. Its mission is to help the discerning eye discover “what will be.”

Please note this Monica Reyes Gallery is wheelchair accessible via the back entrance.
