Sam Shem is an artist, curator and educator based in Vancouver. He graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design with a BFA and from Goldsmiths College with an MA in Fine Art. Sam has exhibited his installations in Canada, the US, Europe and India. He has organized and curated numerous large-scale community events, exhibitions and symposia. Shem is currently working at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Classical Garden as the Arts and Exhibition Curator.
