Avalon Mott (b. 1990) is a curator and photographer living in Vancouver. She is a graduate from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a BFA in Photography and minor is Social Practice and Community Engagement. She is the associate director of FIELD Contemporary, Vancouver, and was named the 2014 Emerging Curator by Gallery 295, Vancouver. Other recent curatorial projects include exhibitions with 221A, Capture Photography Festival, and Emily Carr University, in Vancouver; alongside a public art commission awarded by the City of Richmond.
