Dancing since the age of three, Cara Tench has spent a great deal of time in the theatre. Having recently delved into the world of photography after years of performing, choreographing, and teaching, Tench enjoys her new introverted perspective from behind the camera. She feels such privilege in observing creation time in the studio and in dress rehearsals with other dance artists. Her photography training has taken her to Jacob’s Pillow Dance in Massachusetts and locally at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Vancouver. Holding a degree in both History and Fine Arts, she currently teaches Performing Arts in West Vancouver.
