Jonah Samson has exhibited nationally and internationally including Our Lady of the Flowers of Evil, Wil Aballe Art Projects, Vancouver; Otherworldy, Musée Eugène Leroy, Tourcoing, France, and the Museum of Arts and Design, New York; Unearthed, Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Norwich; Pleasantville, G. Gibson Gallery, Seattle; and Studio 9, Istanbul. His exhibition Another Happy Day at Presentation House, Vancouver, in 2013 was listed as one of the top ten shows that season by Canadian Art magazine, and the accompanying publication was listed as one of the top releases at the NY Art Book Fair by the New Yorker. Samson’s work has appeared in numerous books and periodicals, and his artist publication titled Dead Man’s Hand, based on early-twentieth-century crime photography and film noir was named one of the best books of 2013 by Photoeye. He currently lives on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
