Mark Takeshi McGregor is the Artistic and Executive Director of the SUM Gallery and Queer Arts Festival, assuming the role in September 2021. Coming to the position with 20+ years of experience in the visual and performing arts, McGregor formerly held artistic director positions with Powell Street Festival Society and Redshift Music Society. His curation at SUM gallery includes critically lauded exhibitions by Romi Kim, Rojina Farrokhnejad, Odera Igbokwe, and SD Holman.
