Allegory

Allegory has been used widely throughout history in all forms of art, largely because it illustrates complex ideas and concepts in ways that are comprehensible or striking to its viewers, readers, or listeners. The two artists of Allegory have a commonality in how they establish a link between a landscape’s reality and its hidden meaning, or allegory, as imagined by its conceiver. However, each artist challenges the subject from a completely different perspective.
