The North Vancouver Community Arts Council (NVCAC) is a social-profit, charitable organization devoted to the promotion and development of the arts in all media. NVCAC believes in the intrinsic value of art to inspire, to heal, to bridge sectors, generations, and cultures, and to enhance and enrich the communities where we live, work, and play. NVCAC supports both emerging and established artists and promotes and partners with organizations, groups, and corporations who support and strengthen arts and culture in the community. Located in CityScape Community Art Space, the organization consists of a volunteer board of directors, an executive director, and support staff, and over one hundred dedicated volunteers. Our membership is over five hundred strong and includes individuals, students, seniors, families, cultural groups, and businesses.
CityScape Community Art Space is a community gallery and project of the North Vancouver Community Arts Council, whose mission it is to celebrate and promote art and artists through quality experiences in a unique and inviting gallery space and to create an inclusive environment, which enriches and encourages interaction in the community.
