Monte Clark

Monte Clark was established in 1992 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The gallery exhibits and promotes the work of contemporary Canadian artists alongside a selection of international artists, situating the gallery platform in a global and historical context. Some recent highlights from gallery artists include Colleen Heslin at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and the Esker Foundation (2016), Owen Kydd at the Musée des beaux-arts Montréal (2015), exhibitions at the International Center for Photography New York (2014 Owen Kydd, 2011 Greg Girard), and Scott McFarland’s solo exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery and National Gallery of Canada (2009). In 2012, the gallery relocated to a new site in the Flats district of Vancouver, an expanded working and exhibition space designed by the award-winning D’Arcy Jones Architecture.
